| Discovered this in downtown Provo. Not Hungarian, Czech but still tasty. |
| Flower girl! |
Monday we celebrated Mackenzie's third birthday! We went to the Lindon Aquatic Center with both sides of the family then ate pizza, popsicles (her request) and cupcakes. Then on Tuesday we had an intimate Hammond Family Reunion with Kiersten's siblings and their families, parents and grandparents in Mapleton's Hobble Creek Park. We grilled and played in the park with bubbles and water guns.

The Mackenzie Update:
- She's 3!!! She did a lot of growing this year by becoming a big sister. She loves and defends her baby sister and always tries to make her happy. She is a good helper to Mommy around the house and enjoys playing with Daddy. She can be stubborn and strong willed but is also eager to try new things. She is learning Spanish and how to share and how to count to 20 in two languages. We love this little girl!
Posing with the river up at Sundance. - Late nights equal bad sleep. She wakes up in the middle of the night for no reason and then wakes up at the crack of dawn and runs all day. She's so tired!
We went to church with Grandma and Grandpa Hammond. We held Primary in their room. - She's been talking about her birthday party for months and we think she had a good one. She did all the things at the pool; pirate ship, lazy river, swimming and slides.
- We've joked that she's a bruiser but it proved true this week when she teased and "beat up" her two older cousins on Tuesday.

Hanging out in a tree at Great-Grandma Hammond's. Their yard will be missed.
The Finley Report:
- This poor baby can't catch a break. First it was recovering from international travel. Then it was cutting her first teeth. Now she's hit the 8 month sleep regression combined with late nights. We are wondering when we'll get a full night's sleep again.
- She went swimming during the party and enjoyed it this time! We brought her swim floaty and she had shade and the pool was warm and she kicked and kicked. She cried when she got out but that might have been because she was cold.
It's been a busy but wonderful week especially getting to see all of our family at once. One more week in American then it's back home to Paraguay.
