It's our 2 Year Anniversary! ...was in May

Scott and I have started a tradition for our anniversary. We want to take a picture each year with us holding our anniversary picture from the previous year. The other tradition is that we don't actually take the picture ON our anniversary. It's August and we finally took our 2 year anniversary picture. Last year we did it around August as well so it really was a year! Hopefully next year we can do it ON May 14. That would be great!

Our photographer is none other than Scott's younger brother, Brenton. He is an amazing artist, musician and photographer. All things artsy, this kid has it in spades. He will be leaving for his mission in Brazil in a few weeks and we'll be losing our photographer for 2 years. But we are really excited for him! He's a treat and a hoot and a half to be around so we'll be missing his company as well but it's all for the best!

So we started this tradition at our wedding. Naturally at a wedding you take a TON of pictures. We selected one that was a good portrait of us:

There is a slight glare on the glass but you can still see it pretty well.

See what we did there? I think it's a pretty cool effect. Can't wait for several more years down then road when you won't be able to see the first pictures any more they'll be so small. And it's a fun way to see how we've changed and things. For instant, my hair is shorter this year than the last. If you look close enough, you can see Scott's new scar on his chin from his fall earlier this summer which I mentioned in a previous post. Overall, we look a little bit older and hopefully wiser but ultimately still in love with each other. My husband is a stud and I think I'm the luckiest girl on earth.
